indonesie3.3 slMeals for the poorest

Like rats and dogs
Many Indonesians have no regular income and can hardly afford the staple food at extortionate prices. Only two to three meals a week is common. Every fifth child is underweight. The poor – together with rats and dogs – are forced to look for food on rubbish dumps and bins. Many get sick due to rotten food.

Providing food and love
AVC regularly gives out meals and food parcels. In view of these precarious conditions, it is our pressing goal to grow this work. For many people here the meals and food parcels are an important contribution to feeding their families. Most of the work is done voluntarily – by our present and former children. Our contribution is the finance.
