India is as rich in population as it is poor. Every fourth Indian lives in the most extreme poverty, 43% of children under five are malnourished. Christians also suffer from increasing attacks from Hindus and Buddhists.

From freedom to murder and manslaughter
Freedom of religion is interpreted differently from federal state to federal state. The anti-conversion law in some states punishes the turning away from Hinduism. State sanctions are supplemented by private attacks up to rape, expulsion and murder.

Church planting and social involvement
Since 1997 we are realising various projects in India. Local workers plant house churches in Delhi and surroundings or they travel as evangelists as far as Burma - mostly on foot.

Some of our social projects are children’s homes, retirement homes, four primary schools and four preschools, as well as basic medical care for people in slums through mobile clinics.
